Specialisms:
- Working as a “POO” – Programme Office of One!
- Progressing from Support to Service and on to Assurance
- Guiding and coaching PMO Team members and PMs in project and programme management best practice
- Taking the science out of PMO – simply, just how to do a good job day-in and day-out.
I provide clients with guidance and assurance to deliver their change agenda, typically operating as Manager of the Programme and / or Portfolio Management Office (PMO) function.
My trade is all things “PMO”. Breaking-down complex transformation and change objectives in to well formed, achievable “packages” with appropriate governance to manage risk and deliver the desired outcomes. I ensure that all delivery frameworks and processes are efficient, mine the right data and provide the insight required for timely, effective decision making.
My specialism is people. I’m a good communicator with infectious levels of energy, can facilitate small or large groups and workshops (40+ staff) and act as a coach, mentor and a confident and capable leader.
Perhaps most importantly, I am passionate about the PMO: its role in a business and the opportunities it provides the individual for a varied and interesting career. It is this passion I’d love to share and instil in others as part of the “Coach / Coachee” experience.
As a slight move away from the normal “Coaching Offer” I am also able to provide a “Role Play” service to help embed areas of development – let me now if this too is of interest.
