Below are examples of some of our most popular specialist courses, their objectives and what benefits you will gain from completing them!
Setting Up a PMO
If you have recently completed the P3O® Foundation, Essentials for PMO Administrators, Analysts or Managers courses, you can then follow on to complete the Setting Up a PMO!
This course is aimed at anyone – PM experienced or not – who is in the process of setting up a Project Management Office for their organisation or department. This could mean you’ve been asked to look at using some PMO tools and techniques or to begin the process of formalising project delivery.
This two-day course walks you through the practical steps in the set up of a PMO. It also provides a roadmap which allows delegates to set the direction of their PMO set-up based on their situation, either right now or in the future when they move onto another organisation.
Delegates who take this course also benefit from a raft of tools, techniques, and templates to establish a consistent approach to project management within their organisation. The course also covers Programme Office and Portfolio Office as an extension as the roadmap can be used for the set up of these types of PMOs
By the end of the workshop, delegates will:
