Upcoming Webinars
In this new webinar from PMO Learning, we look closer at the role of the PMO Manager.
We will take a look at the day-to-day role the PMO Manager performs and the knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to succeed in the role.
The session will also look at the responsibilities they have and how you can develop yourself to either take that next step in your PMO career to the PMO Manager role or get better at what you do if you are already working as a PMO Manager.
Finally, we’ll take a look at the typical career path you can expect to see for a PMO Manager.
This session is ideal for anyone currently working in a PMO Analyst role and looking to get into a PMO Manager role in the future. Projects, supposedly, are all about delivering change, but it can often feel that the primary focus is on producing the deliverables to time, cost and quality. Change in the context of a project has many connotations – business change, change management, management of change, change control.
During this webinar we did with the British Computer Society (BCS) we looked at change from three different perspectives – that of the Project Sponsor, the Project Manager and the Business User and how they are ALL required for project success.
During the session, Eileen covered off some theory and some practical hints and tips.

When someone says ‘Continuing Professional Development’ to you, what’s your first reaction?
Are you thinking of training courses? Collecting points to maintain a professional membership? How about ‘lifelong learning’?
In this webinar, we asked registrants what it meant to them and what was the last thing they did that was about Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?
We share their insights along with details about the 70-20-10 model which is used to find those sources of learning that help us develop professionally.
We looked specifically at what activities exist within the 70% – which is about learning on the job; 20% which is learning from others and 10% on formal training.
